Manukau Players make the Cut

Topic: Newsletters
Manukau players Tae Koh, Roy McLean and Nick Voke have made the cut to just scrape into the weekend field at the Muriwai Open. With the field trimmed down to 76 players, McLean sits 21 shots off the pace with Koh and Voke just two shots better, but all a long way off the new leader, Fraser Wilkin, Royal Auckland on -10 after two rounds.

All three are struggling to keep with the blistering pace being set by the front runners and will do well to further consolidate their games over the weekend to at least put in a couple more respectable scores to make up for the day one horrors.

Unfortunately for Joanna Kim, her Muriwai Open is over after posting another disappointing score in her second round which left her near the back of a small women's field. Lydia Ko continues to dominate the field with an even par round today which leaves her 8 shots clear of second placed Wenyung Keh.
